My Deathknight
I'd like to get some feedback as to what you would rate this character out of 10. (This is a PvP build).
The sword I use currently isn't very good. The set of armor is the platemail set. I use an idol that gives me +10 mana.
My character is a W/N; a deathknight.
The stats :
Tactics: 4
Blood Magic: 8
Strength: 10
Swordsmanship: 11
The skills I use are :
1. Sever Artery
2. Gash
3. Final Thrust
4. Bonetti's Defense
5. Vampiric Touch
6. Life Siphon
7. Life Transfer
8. "I Will Survive!"
Explanation :
Sever Artery and Gash are obvious. The Sever Artery contributes to the life degeneration, and allows Gash to function.
Final Thrust is there because the character has major degeneration capabilities (a lot of offense), and it will always have an opportune moment for use. It's a finishing move, as well as is keeps a character below 50% for as long as possible (helps keep 'em on the run).
Bonetti's Defense is to keep this character's mana at its fullest, as well as to stay alive. Without this skill, the 'Death Knight' wouldn't be able to use its other skills as easily, and the 'Death Knight' would die much more easily under focus fire.
Vampiric Touch is a good skill. I can't find another skill to replace it, and it does use the extra mana whenever I have it. It's great in offense, and defense, and has been useful in more than 50% of the games.
Life Siphon is very useful because this character is very much about degeneration and regeneration. It's the offense, and defense. It can be used on multiple players at once for even more regeneration while under focus fire.
Life Transfer is like Life Siphon, but better. It's a major killer, helps keep characters on their steady path to 0 HP while being attacked by the 'Death Knight'.
Finally, "I Will Survive!" is for when the 'Death Knight' is ever under any debilitating effect. This is an awsom skill to help kill Warrior/Monks, as they generally will use Sever Artery and Gash. This has come in handy all to many times, and has brought my regeneration up ranging from +3 to +15 in duels (theoretically it could be more).
I enjoy playing this character, and when I get bored of it but still want some melee action I will switch to my 'Paladin' (W/Mo). I find that in comparison to a W/Mo, this character can be (and has been) much more effective because it kills much better. The upsides of this character to a W/Mo is that its survival skills are also its offense, whereas a W/Mo must use defensive or offensive skills (generally). It lives just as well as the W/Mo in some situations and better in others, although the W/Mo is more of a tank.
